Europe calls for the IMF is the guardian of the international financial system

The heads of State and Government of the Union agreed today to propose specific and concrete measures to refound the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The aim is to equip them with the tools necessary for effective governance of global finance. Before the draft of the unprecedented financial crisis, the European Council wants to flee style rhetoric of "re-capitalism" or by the style of French president Nicolas Sarkozy, and instead raise precise and effective measures to ensure financial stability internationally.
